They say they have a starter kit that helps graduates seek employment, that kit does not work. I will advise anyone who is considering this school to think really hard and talk to some transcription companies before spending the almost $3,000 for the course. It's been almost two years since I finished the course, have no work to show for it and yet have to continue to pay them each month.

The court reporting industry has changed dramatically over the past 20 yrs so like any industry you have to keep up. Also, as with any business, it takes time to build it. I completed the course and it took me a year to find ONE client, but it was a start.

Excited to get started on my new career path. At this time in my life, I find this course something that I can relate to. I am having a good time going to school again.
I’m more of a hands on person so even though I take the quizzes online I still order the books to read and highlight the important information from quizzes. I have been scammed by what I call the too good to be true school before but At Home Professions is anything but a scam. Easy step by step lessons, easy to pay for, no prerequisites like a college. Great for my work schedule and no other students to fight with for the help of an instructor.
